What can I drive with a Class ‘D’ licence?

A Class D licence allows you to operate trucks exceeding 11,000 kg gross weight, provided the towed trailer does not exceed 4,600 kg. You can also drive vehicles covered under a Class G licence.

Upon successful completion, you will receive:

  • DZ Commercial Driver Training Certificate
  • Class DZ Licence (Ontario MTO)
  • WHMIS, PDIC, and Dangerous Goods Certification
  • Valid Ontario Class G licence or higher
  • Grade 10 English or equivalent
  • Pass Class D written exam
  • Complete Air Brake (Z) training
  • Minimum 18 years of age
